Irons In The Fire
Mark Kozma is an independent craftsman creating work in ceramics, wood and metal. The majority of his work is functional and decorative pottery. Accompanied by some wooden utensils and jewelry, and bits of metal sculpture and jewelry here and there. Mark is a lifelong creator, working wood since he was five, sixteen years metal sculpting, and ten years as a potter. Starting his sixth year with the Durham Craft Market, Mark’s work can be found at Central Park most Saturdays. It can be spotted by it’s lively carved decoration, and attention to detail. Mark Studied Art at Central Michigan University, apprenticed for Mark Hewitt in Pittsboro NC., and works from his home studio in Old North Durham.
